Éste es un ejemplo de soundscape en el que una representación sonora de un perímetro define un lugar; en este caso se ha usado como interfaz un mapa interactivo y como materiales grabaciones ambiente en distintos puntos de dicho perímetro.
"PLEO y URKUMA toman como referencia los soundscapes de Murray Schaffer, grabando 30 segundos de sonido cada 5 kilómetros a lo largo de la costa de Salento (Italia), desde T. Castiglione (costa jónica) hasta Casalabate (costa adriática).
185 kilómetros son registrados y "grabados", desde las 9:36h hasta las 19:20h el 28/06/2004; pasando a través de la "costa finisterre" que era considerada la tierra límite del sudeste de Italia." (+)
